Bicycles have been a point of discussion in major cities for many years, and Baltimore is no different. As of recent, bicycle infrastructure has been on the minds of many within the metropolis. It seems that our fair city is not the only one embracing this timeless form of transport and recreation. The East Coast Greenway Alliance (ECGA) is continuing its efforts to create a bike path stretching from Maine to Florida- and 850 miles are already completed. In Maryland, “Off-road trails include portions of the Torrey C. Brown Trail, Jones Falls Trail, Gwynn’s Falls Trail, BWI Trail, John Overstreet Trail, B & A Trail, Colonial Annapolis Maritime Trail, WB & A Trail and the Anacostia Tributary Trails” (ECGA).
